Sales Manager

The Role
As Sales Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the sales team – made up of both field and telephone-based professionals – guiding them to exceed revenue targets, expand client relationships, and unlock new business opportunities. Your leadership will directly influence sales strategy, customer retention, and long-term business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to win new business and expand existing accounts
- Manage, coach, and motivate a team of 4 sales professionals (2 field-based, 2 office-based)
- Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring the team delivers against key metrics
- Work closely with marketing and other departments to identify new market opportunities
- Build relationships with key accounts and act as a senior point of contact
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities
- Report on sales activity, pipeline, and team performance to senior leadership
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training within the team
About You
You’ll be a commercially focused, people-centric leader who thrives on driving results through others. You’ll bring a track record of success in B2B sales and experience managing teams in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience leading B2B sales teams
- Strong ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members
- Commercial awareness with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Confident in client-facing situations and comfortable networking
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Organised, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience within the healthcare, medical, or compliance sectors
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance tools
